BODIES.

Produced in high-quality fibreglass using the latest techniques, equipment, and materials. We can offer two styles, the LWB 4 seater and the classic SWB 4 seater. The LWB can still be registered, just fit to your standard unmodified VW Beetle floorpan/chassis. Bodies are available now.

 

CHASSIS.

The SWB (Short Wheel Base) body fits to our proprietary in-house designed 'Millennium' chassis. These chassis are 2021 technology and no longer use VW components, eliminating the need to scour wrecking yards looking for non-existent 50-year-old parts. And of course, you then have a vehicle that drives like a modern car.

PRE-ORDERS & EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST.

We are taking Pre-Orders and expressions of interest for the Classic Yabby SWB Buggy Complete Body and ProRace Millennium chassis kit. 

Your Pre-Order or Expression Of Interest will ensure two things; that your car will be ready as soon as the engineering and approvals processes are finalized and that you pay a special pre-order pricing structure. The initial production run for kits will be up to 12 units, beyond which pricing will revert to normal retail values.

FEATURES/TECHNICAL.

Kits will be delivered with the following specification/features.

-Black powder coated steel Millennium backbone chassis.

-White gel coat finished Yabby SWB body in Fibreglass.

-Yabby bonnet and integrated curved glass windscreen cowl. Curved windscreen gives much-improved wind buffeting comfort over traditional flat windscreen. (Flat windscreen bonnet also available)

-Facility to mount proprietary ADR legal floor mount pedal box

-Facility to mount production front and rear suspension, brakes, rack & pinion steering etc.

-With appropriate mounting brackets sold separately cars can be fitted with VW or Subaru transaxles

-Choice of engines can be used.

An electric-powered Yabby is also currently in development.

-Guarantee special pre-order pricing of $19,990 incl GST

-Provide you with a full refund should we fail to meet our obligations.

-$1500 will secure your pre-order.

EOI.

If you would prefer to wait until production is ready before committing to an order but don't want to miss out then submit your EOI to us.

Your EOI will-

-Guarantee special EOI pricing of $21,989 incl GST for your body and chassis kit.

-Ensure you are among the first production run of 12 cars or first reserve for the initial production run in order of receipt.

-Provide you with a full refund should your EOI fail to make the production run.

-Ensure you are first in line for subsequent production in order of receipt.

-$150 will secure your EOI.

Disclaimer.

The photo's on this page of the finished yellow buggy are NOT the Yabby Buggy. This is a car built in the USA that we chose as a representation of how the Yabby will look once completed. Specifically, this car has a fabricated chassis and modern type suspension much the same as the Yabby, and if you are familiar with these cars it highlights the more modern nature of the mechanical layout. It also has a body style that is much the same. The yellow car has no association with us apart from this visual representation. Currently, the only pictures we have of the actual Yabby are the body in white straight out of our moulds.

The body in white shown is our LWB body. The SWB is identical apart from the wheelbase.
